Do I have to make an appointment to visit àLouise Bridal?

Yes - àLouise Bridal is open by appointment only, as we want to create the most personalised experience for each bride. By scheduling an appointment, we are able to dedicate 100% of our attention to a bride and her individual needs.

What budget should I set for my wedding dress?

Setting a budget for your wedding gown is a very personal decision. Wedding dresses come in a variety of price ranges, but at àLouise Bridal, most dresses range between $4,000 - $10,000. Simpler gowns can range between $3,000-$5,000, but gowns with more lace, beading or appliques usually start at around $5,000. How long does it take to order a wedding dress?

All dresses available through àLouise Bridal are made-to-order. Production times vary by designer. It is advised to order your dress at least 8-10 months before your wedding date. This allows for production and shipping times, as well as for alterations. In individual cases it may be possible to rush dress orders, and we will do our best to facilitate these in close cooperation with designers.

How should I prepare for an appointment?

Whether or not you have done any prior research on your dream dress - we are here to help! You can bring inspirational pictures to help us to get a better understanding of what you are looking for. You can also bring any shoes that closely resemble the heel height you would like to wear on your wedding day (actual wedding shoes are not necessary). We advise wearing pasties or adhesive bra cups. Other than that - wear what makes you comfortable!

What does made-to-order mean and are alterations necessary?

When visiting àLouise Bridal, all wedding dresses displayed in store are samples. Once you have found your dream wedding dress, it will be made to your body’s specifications. Each bride’s body is different so this process allows to create the best possible fit. Nonetheless, alterations are almost always necessary to accommodate small fluctuations and to achieve the perfect dress.

Can wedding dresses be customised?

As dresses are made-to-order, the majority of dresses can be customised to varying degrees. Don’t hesitate to ask us how during your appointment!
